Sarah Stokes, company founder and director of Take Aim Events has a long legacy of events and consultancy spanning over two decades. Her skills in planning & organisation, consultancy, her passion and her out of the box thinking have allowed Take Aim Events to develop into the company it is now. Take ‘Adventures In Motivation’ led from her work within small county shows with horses and dogs which initially spiked her show interest nearly 40 years ago, to working the national show circuits, exhibiting as a company, and as an international association representative for The Yacht Habour Association, culminating in board level when she sat on the Board of Directors for National Boat Shows for 5 years between 2010-15. Her working background gives Take Aim Events a solid basis in policy review, upto date government guidance, risk assessments and method statements.
Take Aim Events’ first philosophy was to support local, regional and national businesses who provide unique handcrafted products using their own skills and abilities. Also aiming to support local unique businesses, food outlets and eco businesses.
Take ‘Animals
In
Mindfulness’ is new !
Sarah has always been passionate about animals and from her very early working life she had a strong connection with all animals. Her ethos in buying cruelty free products whilst upholding standards within her own life has opened up a new avenue with working with animals for her and that focus will develop within this website as Paws and Presence develops.
With a Bsc(Hons) degree in Animal Physiology and Nutrition; Nearly 45 years experience with animals working in all capacities from farms, animal rescue centres, catteries, stables and within a veterinary practice, Sarah has returned to her animal roots and has completed her 2 years Diploma as a Trust Technique Practitioner for domestic animals to continue her focus on helping animals and their humans develop their relationships on a mutually trusting basis. Her practice is now open. Sarah is currently studying further to include large animals such as equines into practice.
